"Negative theology" as an important and popular theory in Abrahamic religions, has emphasized the negativity component in the field of theology, has different fields, approaches and interpretations, the most significant of which among Imamiyah theologians is the approach of negative theology as an interpretation of the "objectivity" theory. This approach focuses on the relationship between the theory of objectivity and negative theology, seeks the compatibility of these two theories, and is accepted by Thiqqah al-Islam Koleini, Sheikh Sadouq, Allamah Helli, and Fadel Meqdad. Through this essay, which is organized with a descriptive and analytical method, with the aim of presenting and evaluating this approach, it is revealed that this theory has three prominent components; 1. The negativism of positive attributes (of God) in the ontological field; 2. The compatibility of the negativism of positive attributes with the simplicity of the divine essence and the incompatibility of their positivity with the simplicity of the essence (the reason of theory); 3. Presentation of the theory of objectivity in the shade of negativism of positive attributes. However, it seems that none of these components are justified and this theory, in addition to its internal problems, cannot explain the theory of objectivity.
