Ṣadr al-Muta'allihīn providing a detailed analysis of the relevance of the Creator's existence to creature, which is a new analytical product of the principle of causality and compatibility between cause and effect, points out that as an effect is dependent and inextricably related to the cause the existence of a creature is nothing except a manifestation of the Creator's existence. He evidences this point by presenting basic principles like principality of existence, gradation, and expressiveness of existence. But Mīrzā Mehdi Iṣfahānī, on the other side, by rejecting Mullā Ṣadrā's principles adopts a different and complicated stance towards the relevance of the Creator's existence to creature, which is only to undermine the theoretical principles of Mullā Ṣadrā and to justify his own theological beliefs rather than proposing a new theory. He objects the theories of causation and compatibility in order to avoid similarity between the Creator and creature, and to protect his own theological principles regarding infinite power of God, he criticizes the principle of oneness (the principle that from one, no more than one can issue forth) and Mullā Ṣadrā's theory of existence. But the important point is that he does not lay a new basis for the theory of existence and only uses it to explain the preconceived hypotheses such as the negation of the unity of existence, inconsistency between the existence of the Creator and creature, and invalidation of the principle of causality. This paper, in comparative – analytical method, is to analyze and compare the philosophical position of Mullā Ṣadrā and the destructive position of Mīrzā Mehdi Iṣfahānī in order to critique and study the thoughts of Mīrzā Mehdi Iṣfahānī regarding above mentioned issues.
