According to a recent announcement by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, non-governmental institutions (such as Al-Mustafa International University) are authorized to require authors to pay publication fees.

Publication Type: Open Access, Free.
Initial Review Fees: 3,000,000 Iranian Rials; if a third comparative review is required, an additional 1,500,000 Iranian Rials is required.
Publication Fees: 12,000,000 Iranian Rials. After the final acceptance of the article, the mentioned amount must be paid for publication costs and uploaded to the journal’s system.
International authors are exempt from the publication fee.
The processing and publication charges will be waived for international authors.
