The main subject of this research is defining the viewpoint of Ibn Arabi in terms of Mahdaviat which has been done based on his works especially Fotuhat Makia and the series of his Rasael, and it has been proven that Ibn Arabi, as some may think, does not believe in a typical Mahdaviat, rather some of the signs he has mentions for eminence Mahdi (a.j) is according to teachings and views of Shiite about the same topic. He introduces Mahdi (a.j) from progeny of Prophet (s.a.w) and eminence Zahra (a.s) and from the descendants of Imam Hussein (a.s) and whose father is Imam Hasan Askari (a.s) the son of Imam Naqi (a.s) and he is the one who will definitely appear one day and will save the world with justice, which has been filled with cruelty and injustice. He knows him as Baqiyat Allah, infallible, someone who has divine knowledge and knows the unseen realm and reality, considers his rules exactly like the rules of Holy prophet (s.a.w) and believes that the essence and reality of Sharia is with eminence Mahdi (a.j). Even though in regards to eminence of Mahdi (a.j) being the last of successors the words of Ibn Arabi seems to be various and to some extend contradictory, but his words have the capability of being summoned and it could be concluded through reading his words that he absolutely considers and identifies the last of Muhammad’s successors, the eminence Ali and Mahdi (a.j).
