Abstract

The fundamental purpose of this article is to conduct a study on the subject of the Imamate of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) from the perspective of the Holy Quran and to prove its alignment with the Imamiyyah thought. The basis of this study is to investigate the concept of Imamate and analyze it in the Quranic perspective. This research is organized with a descriptive-analytical method and based on library documents, and it believes that, according to the analysis of Quranic data, Imamate is a divine office that means leading the nation in line with the implementation of divine laws and regulations, and among its aspects are inner guidance and divine governance. In fact, Imamate is the form of realizing the will of God in leading and guiding society. By carefully examining the verses of the Quran, we can see characteristics that indicate the position of Imamate of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) and its aspects.According to the Imamiyyah thought, the Imamate and its affairs do not end with the finality of prophethood, but rather this divine position, emphasizing the position of worldly knowledge and infallibility, manifests itself as a life-giving spring in the Ahl al-Bayt of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
