Journal Article 2026 04 16 The present research comparatively examines the methodology of Imamat studies in Al-Mahasin by al-Barqi and Basa’ir al-Darajat by al-Saffar. The main issue of this study is: with what approach and narrative structure has each of these works explained the Imamat? The research hypothesis suggests that the theological concerns and intellectual backgrounds of each traditionist have influenced their narrative style and the organization of the hadiths.<br /><br />The research method is descriptive-analytical. The results indicate that both authors regarded the Imamat as the axis of all religious affairs; however, al-Barqi, in Al-Mahasin, adopts a practical and educational approach in explaining the doctrine of the Imamat, by demonstrating the link between belief in the Imamat and the religious life of the believer in areas such as the reward for deeds and the punishment for sins. In contrast, al-Saffar, in Basa’ir al-Darajat, highlights the intrinsic, spiritual, and existential dimensions of the Imamat by focusing on the stations (maqamat) and virtues of the Imams (a.s.).<br /><br />The final conclusion of the research indicates that the difference in the authors’ objectives and epistemological horizons has led to the creation of two distinct patterns in Imamat studies: al-Barqi’s ethical-creedal pattern and al-Saffar’s faith-gnostic pattern, which collectively present a dual image of the evolution of Shi’a hadith methodology in the early centuries. پژوهش حاضر با رویکردی تطبیقی به بررسی روش‌شناسی امامت‌پژوهی در المحاسن برقی و بصائرالدرجات صفّار می‌پردازد. مسئله‌ی اصلی این تحقیق آن است که هر یک از این آثار با چه رویکردی و ساختار روایی به تبیین امامت پرداخته‌اند؟ فرضیه پژوهش بر آن است که دغدغه‌های کلامی و زمینه‌های فکری هر محدّث، بر شیوه روایت‌گری و نحوه سامان‌دهی احادیث تأثیر داشته است.<br />روش تحقیق، توصیفی ـ تحلیلی است. نتایج نشان می‌دهد که هردو نویسنده، امامت را به‌مثابه محور تمامی شئون دینی تلقی کرده‌اند؛ با این تفاوت که برقی در المحاسن رویکردی کاربردی و تربیتی در تبیین آموزه امامت دارد، به‌گونه‌ای که پیوند باور به امامت با زیست دینی مؤمن را در عرصه‌هایی چون ثواب اعمال و عقاب گناهان نشان می‌دهد. در مقابل، صفّار در بصائرالدرجات با تمرکز بر مقامات و فضائل امامان (ع)، جنبه‌های درونی، روحانی و وجودی امامت را برجسته می‌سازد.<br />جمع‌بندی نهایی پژوهش حاکی از آن است که تفاوت در هدف و افق معرفتی مؤلفان به ایجاد دو الگوی متمایز در امامت‌پژوهی انجامیده است؛ یکی الگوی اخلاقی ـ اعتقادی برقی و دیگری الگوی ایمانی ـ معرفتی صفار، که در مجموع تصویری دوگانه از تحول روش‌شناسی حدیثی شیعه در قرون نخستین ارائه می‌دهد. http://pke.journals.miu.ac.ir/article_11876_9257a840a3c07bc4ffb0e24690e7d004.pdf
